Mobolaji Hails Oyebanji’s Infrastructure Drive, Says Continuity Works for Ekiti

APC Stalwart & Senior Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Physical planning, Arc. Adeyeye Mobolaji, has praised Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for what he described as “a bold and people-focused transformation” as the state marked the third anniversary of his administration with the commissioning of major infrastructure projects including the 21-kilometre Ikere–Ilawe Road, the renovated General Hospital in Ilawe-Ekiti, the Itapa–Ijelu–Omu Road in Oye Local Government Area, and the newly completed Ekiti Ring Road Project Phase 1.

Adeyeye Mobolaji said the projects, unveiled as part of activities marking Governor Oyebanji’s three years in office, reflect “hands-on leadership, political continuity, and a clear vision for a connected, healthier, and more prosperous Ekiti.”

“Governor Oyebanji’s approach to governance is deliberate and people-driven,” Mobolaji said. “These roads and hospitals are not just concrete achievements they are proof that continuity delivers results and leadership rooted in service still works.”

He commended the governor for sustaining the continuity agenda initiated by former Governor Kayode Fayemi, noting that this culture of political discipline has positioned Ekiti as a state where progress is not reset every election cycle.

“The governor has shown that growth doesn’t come from starting over, but from building on what works,” he said. “From Ikere to Ilawe, Itapa to Omu, and across Ado-Ekiti where the new Ring Road now eases traffic and drives commerce, the evidence of progress is undeniable.”

Mobolaji urged residents to support the governor’s leadership, insisting that Oyebanji’s steady, accountable governance deserves continuity. “What Ekiti needs now is consolidation, not disruption. The governor’s re-election would preserve this rhythm of development and deepen the gains we’re seeing today,” he added.

He described Oyebanji’s infrastructural projects as the backbone of Ekiti’s new economic momentum. “Roads are opening up trade routes, hospitals are saving lives, and the Ring Road is connecting communities to opportunities. That’s not chance — that’s visionary leadership,” Mobolaji said.

The Ekiti Ring Road Project Phase 1, commissioned by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is designed to decongest Ado-Ekiti, connect surrounding communities, and enhance access to the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport  a strategic investment expected to boost trade, logistics, and industrial development across the state.

Mobolaji concluded that as Governor Oyebanji’s administration clocks three years, “the story of Ekiti is fast becoming one of continuity, competence, and visible progress.”
