Nigerian Afrofusion artist Dayo Bada has released his much-anticipated album, Fire & Love, now streaming across all digital platforms. The 18-track body of work dropped on 24 July 2024 and signals another ambitious step in his effort to fuse African rhythms with gospel, rap and contemporary sounds.
The singer, who describes himself as a custodian of African culture through music, said the project drew its spark from divine inspiration. According to him, “Fire” represents the energy that drives creativity, while “Love” reflects God’s nature, agape, which he seeks to channel in his sound.
Fire & Love spans an eclectic mix of themes and genres, from the amapiano-tinged Fire and Love version to gospel-infused tracks such as Omo Jesu and Allelu. Standout singles include Duro, first released in 2021, and Ololufe, his 2020 ballad that continues to resonate with audiences. Other tracks in the album include Credit Alert, Make Am (Fire), Rescue (Next Rated 2021), This Year, Ranmilowo (God Help Me), and FIRE AND LOVE (INA IFE) Afro Pop version.
Speaking on his artistic journey, Dayo Bada noted that his music is rooted in everyday life experiences and faith. His unique style, which he tags Afrogospel, blends classic Afro sounds with spirituality, offering listeners both entertainment and reflection.
The artist urged fans to stream the album on all digital platforms and connect with him via social media. His official handles include Twitter:@Dayobada2, Instagram :@dayo_bada, Facebook :dayo_bada, TikTok : dayo_bada, and YouTube: Dayo Bada TV.
