Industrialist and financial expert, Hon. ‘Dapo Kolawole, alongside his wife, Dr. ‘Nike Kolawole, has congratulated former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, on his 61st birthday, praising his contributions to governance reforms, youth development, and Nigeria’s economic growth.
In a goodwill message released on Monday, Hon. Kolawole described Dr. Fayemi’s years in public office as a period marked by policy-driven leadership that strengthened public institutions, expanded educational opportunities, and advanced citizen-focused governance in Ekiti State.
He noted that Fayemi’s tenure as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum helped deepen policy coordination among states, while his leadership as Minister of Mines and Steel Development repositioned Nigeria’s solid minerals sector, attracting investment interest and expanding the country’s non-oil economic potential.
Hon. Kolawole said the former governor’s commitment to youth development, education reforms, and institutional strengthening continues to influence governance conversations across the country.
He and his wife wished the elder statesman continued good health, renewed strength, and greater accomplishments, noting that Fayemi’s public service record remains a source of inspiration to many leaders within and beyond Ekiti State.
