But the Nigerian judicial system moves at a glacial pace. Twelve years pass, and just as Suky begins to hope for justice, his adoptive family is murdered. Framed for the crime, he is thrown into the notorious Aja Prison, a maximum-security hellhole where survival depends on brute force and powerful connections.

Inside Aja Prison, the law is meaningless. Authority belongs to Marshal, a sadistic officer who rules with an iron fist, his brutality unchecked by any semblance of oversight.
