Nigerian football freestyler Chinonso Eche has drawn fresh global attention after a standout performance on Italy’s Lo Show Dei Record, where he displayed the ball control that has earned him five Guinness World Records.

The Anambra-born teenager, widely known as Amazing Kid Eche, performed in Milan before a live audience, executing intricate juggling routines and balance techniques that underline his growing reputation as one of Africa’s most skilled freestyle footballers.

Chinonso first gained international notice in November 2019 at age 12, when he set a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive football touches in one minute while balancing a ball on his head, recording 111 touches. The feat attracted global recognition, including commendation from football’s world governing body.

Since then, he has steadily built a record-breaking profile. His achievements include the fastest time to complete 1,000 touches while balancing a ball on his head, most headers in a prone position within one minute, and most seated touches while maintaining head balance—all requiring precision, stamina and discipline.

His latest milestone came on 1 February 2023 during a previous appearance on Lo Show Dei Record, where he surpassed his own record by reaching 133 touches in one minute, improving on his earlier tally by 22. The Italian programme, known for spotlighting extraordinary talents, invited him in collaboration with Guinness World Records and Banijay Italia.

Clips from his recent performance have circulated widely online, with viewers highlighting both the technical difficulty of his routines and the composure he maintains under pressure. On social media platform X, users shared footage of his Milan appearance, expressing pride in his journey from local training grounds in Nigeria to international television.

Trained in his early years under freestyle coach Chukwuebuka Ezugha, Chinonso developed his craft through street football before transitioning into structured performance. That background continues to shape his style, marked by control, rhythm and creativity.

The reaction online reflects more than admiration for skill. For many young Nigerians, his rise signals what sustained focus can achieve despite limited resources. As his performances gain traction beyond Africa, Chinonso’s profile continues to expand, positioning him among a new generation of athletes redefining football artistry.

With his latest appearance fuelling renewed interest, observers say the teenager shows no signs of slowing down, as he continues to test the limits of freestyle football on the global stage.
