In a candid revelation, Charles Idibia, the younger brother of legendary Nigerian musician, Tuface Idibia, has opened up about long-standing family tensions involving his brother’s wife, Annie Idibia.
Taking to his official Instagram account, Charles, also known as Charlybrave, detailed a series of incidents that have allegedly strained relations between Annie and her in-laws. In the emotionally charged post, he expressed his frustration over what he described as disrespect towards Tuface, his family, friends, and even household staff.
Charles revealed that, despite his genuine efforts to maintain peace, Annie has consistently humiliated his brother in public and created a toxic atmosphere within the family. He cited multiple instances, including public altercations at events, the alleged mistreatment of their mother during a visit, and even conflicts with his own wife just weeks after they suffered the tragic loss of their child.
“I just want to create a peaceful space in my heart and move forward. Annie, I am sure you are shocked that this is coming from me, because in your heart, you know I have always loved you and treated you as a sister,” Charles wrote.
The post also delved into accusations of controlling behavior, claiming that Annie isolates Tuface from his family and limits his interactions with his other children. Charles pointed out that, despite her repeated complaints about being overwhelmed, she maintains a large household staff, including four maids, two personal assistants, and live-in relatives, while still accusing the in-laws of being a burden.
One of the most alarming claims in Charles’ post was the suggestion that Annie’s anger and alleged violent tendencies could pose a serious risk to Tuface’s safety.
“What scares me most these days is the violence. Where does it end? Is it when you stab him in the chest while he sleeps over a call from Pero demanding he speaks to his kids in the middle of the night?” he questioned.
