Venite University has raised an urgent alarm over a surge in fraudulent schemes targeting admission seekers. The institution has warned prospective students and their families to steer clear of individuals parading themselves as university agents, falsely claiming to sell admission forms or collect fees through personal bank accounts.
The university described the development as “deeply troubling” and confirmed that no staff member or representative is authorised to receive payments outside its official digital platforms. Any such claim, it warned, is a scam.

Venite University has reiterated that its admission process is fully digital, transparent, and cannot be manipulated through backdoor arrangements. Applicants, parents, and guardians are urged not to fall prey to sweet-talking impostors.

Anyone caught impersonating the school or extorting money from admission hopefuls will be handed over to the authorities. The management stressed its zero tolerance for deceit and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting applicants at every stage of the admission cycle.
The Registrar, Dr E.A. Agbaje, signed off the public notice, urging the general public to remain vigilant and report suspicious behaviour immediately.“Venite University is not for sale, and our process is not for hijack,” Dr. Agbaje stated. “We will not allow scammers to prey on the dreams of Nigerian students.”
The school is located at Kilometre 2, Ayetoro Road, Iloro-Ekiti, and remains open to walk-in visits for verified information.
