Architect Mobolaji Johnson Adeyeye, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State on Physical Planning, has joined well-wishers across the state in celebrating the birthday of the First Lady, Her Excellency Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, describing her as “a woman whose grace meets purpose and whose leadership quietly transforms lives.”
Mobolaji Adeyeye hailed Dr. Oyebanji as a compassionate visionary whose humanitarian work and commitment to education continue to leave a deep imprint on Ekiti’s social fabric.
He noted that her approach to service, marked by humility and a deep sense of duty, reflects the very soul of leadership that values people over power. “Dr. Oyebanji represents the heartbeat of the Oyebanji administration. Her work through the Widows, Aged and Orphans Hope (WAOH) Initiative shows what true empathy looks like, practical, consistent, and life-changing,” he said.
Architect Adeyeye also commended her remarkable devotion to the education sector, particularly her decision to teach free of charge at three tertiary institutions in the state. “It takes a rare kind of leader to give knowledge as a gift. Her Excellency isn’t just inspiring students in the classroom; she’s setting a national example for what civic responsibility should mean,” he added.
Speaking further, the governor’s aide lauded her advocacy for gender justice and protection, saying her unrelenting efforts in enforcing laws against gender-based violence have given many women the courage to seek justice and reclaim their dignity.
He highlighted her Back to School project as another testament to her nurturing spirit, ensuring that thousands of children, especially girls, have access to the tools they need to thrive academically.
“Dr. Oyebanji’s story is one of quiet strength and active compassion. She doesn’t just talk about change she builds it, one life at a time,” Adeyeye said.
Concluding his tribute, he prayed that God continue to bless the First Lady with wisdom, health, and happiness. “On behalf of my family and office, I celebrate an exceptional woman whose heart beats for Ekiti. May this new year usher in even greater impact and fulfilment.”
