Nigerian music star Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has reconciled with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after nearly two years of estrangement. The singer has promised to buy him a house and cover all his medical expenses.

The emotional reunion comes days after Fatai Odunsi accused the singer of neglect, alleging that despite Asake’s meteoric rise, he had not received any financial support while battling a stroke. The accusations sparked a heated online debate, with critics lambasting the musician for turning his back on family.

But in a dramatic twist, Odunsi, in a newly surfaced video, declared that the conflict is over. Speaking in Yoruba, he exuded pride in his son, showering him with blessings and affirming that all grievances had been settled. “Asake has assured me that he will do everything I need. There is no more problem,” he said. “He has already sent real estate agents to find a house for me.”

The reconciliation extends beyond father and son. Odunsi confirmed that Asake has taken full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat, ensuring her welfare moving forward. “He has never denied his child, but now, he has promised to be fully involved,” he added.

Further dispelling concerns about his health, Odunsi revealed that Asake has transferred funds for immediate medical care. “Tomorrow, I’ll be at the hospital,” he said, expressing gratitude for the timely intervention.

The saga, which played out in the public eye, now seems to be drawing to a close. But for many, the drama only underscores the price of fame, the weight of expectations, and the unbreakable ties of family.
