Barrister Victor Olumuyiwa Kolade has formally entered the race for the Ekiti Central Constituency II seat in the House of Representatives after securing the All Progressives Congress nomination and expression of interest forms in Abuja.
Allies collected the forms at the party’s national secretariat on his behalf, marking a clear declaration of intent as early manoeuvres for the 2027 general elections gather pace.
Barrister Kolade, a legal practitioner with growing support across the constituency, now positions himself among the early contenders shaping the contest. His campaign centres on representation that delivers measurable outcomes, with a focus on youth inclusion, infrastructure gaps, and legislative responsiveness.
Speaking shortly after the process, he framed his ambition as a response to what he described as a widening disconnect between constituents and elected officials.
“This is about giving Ekiti Central Constituency II a stronger voice through practical lawmaking and development-driven representation,” he said. “I am stepping forward with a clear sense of duty and readiness to serve.”
