The Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has announced dates for the next phase of its ongoing recruitment exercise, inviting candidates who scored at least 60 percent in the recent written examination to attend oral interviews and micro teaching sessions in Ado-Ekiti.
According to the Commission, the exercise will begin on Wednesday, 20 August 2025, with candidates in Mathematics, Yoruba, Physics, Biology, Economics, Financial Accounting, Commerce, Business Studies, Government, History, Guidance and Counselling, ICT, Basic Technology, French, Physical and Health Education, Home Economics, Music, Fine Art, Arabic Studies and Islamic Religious Studies.
On Thursday, 21 August, applicants for English Language, Civic/Social Studies, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Christian Religious Studies and Basic Science will take their turn, while non-teaching candidates for Secretarial Assistant, Library Attendant and Laboratory Attendant roles are scheduled for Tuesday, 26 August. The venue for all three days is All Souls’ Grammar School, beside Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, New Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti, with proceedings starting at 8:30 a.m. each day.
Applicants are required to bring original and photocopies of their academic and professional certificates, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, birth certificate or age declaration, proof of local government of origin, and the printout of their examination score. The Commission warned that statements of result will not be accepted.
TESCOM further clarified that only holders of NCE, B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed), B.Tech (Ed), B.Sc + PGDE, BA + PGDE or HND + PGDE will be considered for teaching roles, while non-teaching positions are open strictly to SSCE holders. Candidates can check their scores through the recruitment portal: https://tescom.eksgapps.com.
