Engr. Dawodu Hosts APC Ward 11, Sets New Tone for Unity and Continuity in Ekiti Politics

Engr Olaoluwa Dawodu, a stalwart in the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti, drew Ward 11 leaders and members into Isan-Ekiti over the weekend for what quickly became a decisive grassroots conversation on unity, loyalty and the future of the party.

The engagement, which brought together key political figures such as former state lawmaker Reuben Awoyemi and Ifesowapo LCDA scribe Olagoke Adetiloye, offered a rare, open-floor moment for ward executives, women leaders, youth coordinators and committed party faithful to speak frankly about the party’s direction.

Dawodu, energised by the strong turnout, said the gathering served as a reminder of why ward structures remain the backbone of political mobilisation. He warned that the governor’s second-term bid should not be treated as a routine party exercise but as a duty to protect the state’s development gains. Continuity, he said, remains the surest path to sustained progress.
